About
Aftershock is the story of Baojia, a man who loses his family in the 2008 Sichuan earthquake. He subsequently finds himself struggling as an illegal immigrant in NYC, desperately trying to make a human connection.
The film was produced, written and directed by George Billard and was filmed entirely in studio and on location in New York City.
Aftershock was photographed by Anthony Wolberg using the RED One Cinema camera in 4K. It was edited on a Final Cut Pro system by Katie Mantell and was finished on a Scratch system and mastered to 2k with a 5.1 Cinema Audio package.
